Global Warming Programs
By: Rowan Wolf
Just wanted to give folks a heads up. There are two global warming specials on this week. One is on PBS Nova, and is called "Global Dimming. I watched it last night, and I must say it did not make me feel any more optimistic. The program offers a good discussion of global dimming and the implications for climate, and also the interrelationship between global dimming and warming.
The other program is premiering on HBO on Saturday, and is "Too Hot Not To Handle." I've heard good things about it, and the trailer at HBO looks pretty good. I believe it airs Saturday April 22 at 7pm et/pt.
