Save The Manatee

The Florida manatee has been killed in record numbers over the last year. The manatee is a gentle giant who has been decimated by development in the Everglades, and is currently listed on the Endangered Species list. Instead of addressing the problems and taking action to save the manatee, Florida is mobilizing to have the manatee downlisted to "threatened." Such a move would make the slim chance of survival for the manatee even slimmer. You can take action to help save the manatee. Please sign the petition urging Governor Jeb Bush to keep the manatee on the Endangered Species list. You may also visit the and support their activities.
