Global Warming And North Atlantic Temperatures
By: Rowan Wolf
There is an excellent article by Stuart Staniford over at The Oil Drum titled Dangerous Anthropogenic Interference. The article details, with graphs and images included, the North Atlantic surface temerature changes from 1860 to the present. It goes on to discuss the predictions for further warming, but provides an analysis that shows those projections to be off by about 15%. It presents relatively complex components of the warming process in a comprehensible manner. Of course, the more short term implications are the hurricanes for the upcoming season. Not good news at all after last year.
