Saving Energy
By: Rowan
The UNplanning Journal has a nice piece on strategies that renter can use to save energy. Renters do not have some of the options that home owners have in updating appliances or doing certain modifications to their home, that would help cut the energy bill. The author points to those things that we can control such as changing out lighting, insulating water heaters, carefully choosing our personal appliances and their use, and turning down the heat. Kudos to UNplanning for addressing this issue that effects so many of us. As heating costs rise this winter, we will need all the ideas we can come up with.
